What we plaster

After an alteration or new pipework, you can see on the walls and ceilings where the work was done. We fill chases, skim surfaces again and build lightweight partitions, so the room looks calm and even again.

The right finish

Smooth or textured

Smooth finishing plaster looks calm and is easy to paint. A textured finish is tougher and hides unevenness. We show you samples and advise on what suits the room.

Allowing time to dry

Plaster needs time to dry before it is painted or papered. We build this into the schedule so that painters and floor layers aren’t kept waiting.

How it works

From the assessment to a wall that’s ready for painting.

  1. Site visit

We look at the substrate and surfaces and agree which finish you want.

  2. Quote

You get a quote by area and time needed, clearly broken down.

  3. Plastering

We cover up, prepare and apply the plaster in as many coats as needed.

  4. Handover

We tidy up and tell you when the surfaces can be painted.

Frequently asked questions

Do you do small patches too?

Yes. We also neatly plaster over single chases or holes after the electrician.

How long does the plaster take to dry?

Depending on thickness and room conditions, finishing plaster is ready for painting after a few days to two weeks. We’ll tell you exactly when.

Is there a lot of dust?

Little when plastering, more when sanding and breaking out. We screen off the rooms and clean up at the end.

Do you build partition walls?

Yes, in drywall or masonry. We’ll tell you which suits the sound insulation and use better.
