Conversions in lived-in homes.

Wall openings, new walls, conservatories, plastering and tiling. We plan with you and build with our own tradespeople, in Mönchaltorf, Uster, Zurich and across the Zurich Oberland.

What we convert

A conversion changes the way you live. We listen, show you what is technically possible and give you a quote that tells you exactly where you stand. The work is done by our own tradespeople.

  • Knocking through walls and new openings
  • New walls in masonry or drywall
  • Conservatories and small extensions
  • Plastering and rendering
  • Wall and floor tiles

Big or small

Jobbing builder

Not every job is a big conversion. As a jobbing builder we also take on small jobs: bricking up a door, repairing a plinth, knocking through for a new kitchen.

One firm for the whole job

For larger conversions we coordinate the work and are your contact from the quote to the handover.

How it works

From the first visit to the handover, you have one contact person.

  1. Site visit

We look at the rooms, listen and work out which walls are load-bearing and which aren’t.

  2. Quote

You get a clear quote with the sequence of work and a schedule.

  3. Building

We cover surfaces, screen off the work area and agree noisy work with you in advance.

  4. Handover

We tidy up, go through the work with you and hand the rooms back clean.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a building permit?

Usually not for interior work. If the facade, the use or load-bearing parts change, the municipality may require a permit. We’ll tell you what is needed.

Can we stay in the house during the work?

In most cases, yes. We plan the stages so that you are without your kitchen or bathroom for as short a time as possible.

Can a load-bearing wall come out?

Often yes, with a downstand beam or a steel beam. The sizes are calculated by a structural engineer, whom we bring in for you.

Do you take on small jobs too?

Yes. As a jobbing builder we’ll come for half a day too. Just give us a call.
